When I was a child I loved to go down to the corner drugstore and buy a pack of baseball cards every week (or more often). The guys in the neighboorhood actively traded cards. I can remember trading for Willie Mays and Hank Aaron cards. One of my friend's father had saved his cards from when he was a kid, and gave them to his son. I had always like that, and so I did the same. Most of my cards are from the mid-60's. Many of the players are now in the Hall of Fame.
